Julia Jones

Julia started to take violin lessons with Viktor Basis at Lucy Moses School at the Kaufman Music Center (USA) at age of five. Julia was accepted to the Perlman Music Program in 2018, where she studied with Itzhak Perlman, Catherine Cho, and Li Lin. Julia received a merit scholarship from Kaufman Music Center the same year. Julia became part of NGO Committee on Migration and Youth Art Force.

Julia won many international competitions such as the 1st prize at the American Protege International Concerto Competition (2016), Grand Prize Winner at the IV ENKOR International Competition (2017), the 1st prize winner for the Music of XIX Century at the Great Composers International Competition, the 1st prize winner for Artist of the Year at Great Composers International Competition (Great Britain). She won of Kaufman Music Center Concerto Competition in 2018 and got the 1st prize winner at VIVO International Music Competition (USA). She took the 1st prize at the North International Music Competition in 2019 and became the Best Performance Winner laureate at Washington National Youth Competition. She is the 1st prize winner at IX Lyra New York International Vocal Competition in 2020.

Julia has participated in Inter Harmony International Music Festival (Germany), Summer String Festival at Merkin Hall (USA), the annual Gala for Kaufman Music Center (USA), the music evening at Joshua Bell’s Fundraising event (USA).Julia performed Bach Double Concerto with Joshua Bell in 2017 and 2019.
