Zaletel-Černoš Rok

Born in#nbsp;1998 in#nbsp;Ljubljana. Graduated from the Academy of#nbsp;Music of#nbsp;the University of#nbsp;Ljubljana (under prof. Vasily Melnikov). Is#nbsp;currently studying in#nbsp;the University of#nbsp;Music and Performing Arts Vienna (under prof. Anton Sorokov). Attended master classes conducted by#nbsp;Maxim Vengerov, Viktor Tretyakov, Stefan Milenkovich, Igor Ozim, Haim Taub and other renowned violinists. Is#nbsp;a#nbsp;laureate of#nbsp;the Valsesia Musica Competition (Varallo, Italy; II#nbsp;prize), the International Fritz Kreisler Competition (Vienna; special prize), the Stefanie Hohl Violin Competition (Vienna; 2nd Prize the Young Virtuosos (Zagreb; Grand prize and I#nbsp;prize), etc. Winner of#nbsp;the Prešeren Award. Performed in#nbsp;Italy, Switzerland, Belarus, France, Serbia, Croatia, Germany, Slovenia, Austria, Japan, Spain, Portugal, and Luxembourg. As#nbsp;a#nbsp;soloist, Rok Zaletel-Černoš has played with the RTV Slovenia Symphony Orchestra, the Orchestra Antonio Vivaldi (Italy), the Symphony Orchestra of#nbsp;the Slovene National Theatre Maribor, the Mendelssohn Chamber Orchestra, the Orchestra Amadeo and others.
