Zharova Galiya

Started learning to play the violin at the age of 5 at the Republican Music School named after Kulyash Baiseitova (class of Professor S.A. Adusadykova). Graduated with honours from the Central School of Music (2010) and the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory (2015). Has attended the master classes of M. Fedotov, V. Tretyakov, V. Spivakov, U. Strelle, M. Temperi-Bezrodnaya. Prize winner of many international violin competitions named after D. Oistrakh (2008; 2nd prize), Beethoven (2009, St. Pölten; 1st prize), A. Postakkini (2010, Fermo, Italy; 1st prize), Violin Competition in Astana (2012; Grand Prix), L. Auer (2015, St. Petersburg; 2nd prize), Ysaye (2019, Liege, Belgium; 1st prize). She has performed with the Svetlanov State Academic Symphony Orchestra, the Kaliningrad Symphony Orchestra, the Symphonica ARTica symphony orchestra of the Yakutia Philharmonic, the Nikolaev Youth Symphony Orchestra, the State Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the State Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Republic of Belarus and many others.
