Violinist, soloist of the Moscow Philharmonic, soloist of the St. Petersburg House of Music, teacher of the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory, Musical Director and member of the Artistic and Expert Council of the Sirius Educational Center, Artistic Director of the Perm Regional Specialized Music School.
Pavel Milyukov graduated from the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory and postgraduate studies (class of Professor V.M. Ivanov, People’s Artist of Russia), then continued his studies at the Vienna University of Music and Performing Arts (class of Professor B.I. Kushnir). He was twice awarded a scholarship by the St. Petersburg House of Music and Bank "Rossiya" (2008, 2009).
The violinist is actively involved in concert activities: he tours in European countries, Japan, South and North Korea, China, Brazil, and many cities in Russia, where he also holds master classes. He performs at famous concert venues with leading Russian and foreign ensembles.
Among the conductors P. Milyukov has collaborated with are outstanding masters of our time: V. Gergiev, V. Spivakov, V. Fedoseyev, M. Pletnev, Yu. Simonov, V. Jurowski, K. Jarvi, J. Conlon, A. Sladkovsky, V. Petrenko, P. Kogan, and R. Canetti.
Knight of the Order of Friendship, Honoured Artist of the Russian Federation. Laureate of the XV International Tchaikovsky Competition, Kloster Schöntal Competition, R. Canetti Violin Competition, Paganini Competition in Moscow, Oistrakh Competition and Astana Violin Competition. Plays the Guarneri Ex-Szigeti violin provided by a Swiss foundation.
