Alexandra Volkova

She began her musical education at the Moscow Gnessin Secondary Specialized Music School in the class of E.V. Tolkunova. She made her stage debut at the age of six. She has repeatedly participated
in programs of the Vladimir Spivakov International Charity Foundation. Since 2008, she has continued her studies in London: first at the Purcell School of Music under the guidance of Professor T. Sarkisova, and then in her class at the Royal Academy of Music. As part of chamber ensembles, she has performed at the largest concert venues in Russia, the USA, the UK, Germany, Austria, Italy and other countries. She has collaborated with such conductors as P. Daniel, O. Nassen, S. Bell. She is
a laureate of international competitions, including the Marbella International Competition (Spain), Heepdrove International Competition (Great Britain), Damascus International Competition (Syria), Verão Clássico of the International Academy of Music in Lisbon (Portugal). She took part in master classes of professors D. Alekseev, S. Osborne, P. Nemirovsky, V. Ovchinnikov, Dm. Bashkirov, P. Badura-Shkoda. Since 2016, she has been a member of the Belcanto Charitable Foundation for the Promotion of Musical Culture, giving concerts as a soloist, chamber performer and accompanist. Since 2024, Alexandra
is a teacher and accompanist at the Sirius Secondary Specialized Music School of the Talent and Success Educational Foundation.
