Stefaniya Pospekhina

She began studying the violin at the age of five at the Central Music School — Academy of Performing Arts (class of E. Rakhimova). At the age of six, she performed for the first time with an orchestra conducted by A. Khurgin. In 2023, 16-year-old Stefania won the 2nd place at the III Viktor Tretyakov International Violin Competition. By the decision of the jury, she was also awarded the special prize by D. Austrich for the best performance of a piece by S. Rachmaninoff and the special prize by A. Tchaikovsky. Professor of the Geneva Academy of Music S. Ostrovsky called the young performer "a new diamond of the Russian violin school".

Stefania has played with orchestras conducted by A. Markin, I. Stolbov, M. Shekhtman, K. Maslyuk, V. Valitov, M. Golikov, Yu. Tkachenko in the
P.I. Tchaikovsky Concert Hall, Moscow Concert Hall "Zaryadye", halls of the Moscow Conservatory and Moscow International House of Music, as well as concert halls in many cities in Russia.

Stefania is a scholarship holder of the Yuri Rozum International Charitable Foundation, Vladimir Spivakov International Charitable Foundation and New Names Foundation. She is a laureate of prestigious competitions, including: Nutcracker International Television Music Competition (2020, Moscow; Silver Nutcracker), L. Auer International Violin Competition (2022, St. Petersburg; 2nd prize), P.I. Tchaikovsky International Youth Competition (2023, Moscow; 2nd prize), 1st International Competition of Academic Musical Art "Yamal Symphony" (2024, Salekhard; Grand Prix).
