Violinist and composer Roman Kim is called the "Paganini of our time" for his virtuoso playing and passion for musical experiments.
He studied at the Central Music School in Moscow (class of G. Turchaninova). In 2008, 16-year-old Kim entered the Cologne University of Music, where he studied with V. Tretyakov.
Winner of numerous international competitions. Regularly performs in prestigious concert halls in Russia, Italy, Germany, France, Hungary, the USA, China, the Rebublic Korea, and other countries. The violinist notes: "My most important teachers are Moscow Conservatory teacher Galina Turchaninova and Viktor Tretyakov. Turchaninova gave me an excellent technical base, and Tretyakov greatly influenced me musically".

He is an author of talented transcriptions, as well as works for violin. He wears prismatic glasses, which he invented himself.
