Ho Chun (Cyrus) Yuen

A London-based violinist, originally from Hong Kong. A student of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama (London, the UK), where he studies under the guidance of professors D. Takeno and S. Gonli.
He has extensive experience performing in Asia, Europe and America. His concerts have taken place at venues such as the Great Hall of the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, Victoria Music Centre in Barcelona, Barbican Centre and Bechstein Hall (London), etc. He has participated in master classes with outstanding violinists Nancy Zhou and Tasmin Little. Cyrus’s talent recognized by numerous awards, including the Brain and Julie Q Foundation, Guildhall Foundation and Harrison-Frank Family Foundation. In 2024, he won the 2nd prize at the Essex Young Musicians Competition (the UK) and was a finalist at the L. Nono International Chamber Music Competition (Turin, Italy). Finalist of the Victoria BCN International Violin Competition in Barcelona (Spain, 2025). Plays the Pierre Heil violin, provided to him by the Harrison-Frank Family Foundation.
