Aleksandr Papushev

He began studying the violin at the Ussuriysk Children Music School (class of G.V. Kopylova). In 2022, he graduated from the Central Music School at the Academy of Performing Arts under the guidance of Professor S.I. Kravchenko, after that he continued his studies at the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory. Winner of the special prize — the Scroll Fine-Instruments violin — of the International Television Competition for Young Musicians "The Nutcracker" (2013). He is a winner of the VI Lavrinovich International Competition for Young Violinists (Plock, Poland, 2015), X International Competition for Young Musicians and Performers (Vladivostok, 2018), Ippolitov-Ivanov All-Russian Competition-Festival of Performing Arts (Moscow, 2020), IV All-Russian Music Competition (Moscow, 2022). Scholarship holder of the New Names Foundation. Performs in various concert halls in Russia. He performed as a soloist with many orchestras conducted by A. Kantorov, V. Valitov, A. Lubchenko, A. Khalapsis, P. Gerstein, and others.
