The list of participants of the first round of the IV Viktor Tretyakov International Violin Competition has been updated

After clarifying all the details with the contestants who successfully passed the preselection round, the most of the performers confirmed their desire to participate in the prestigious music competition in the homeland of Viktor Tretyakov.

The next stage of the competition is 4 rounds in Krasnoyarsk. 25 talented young violinists will compete in the first round. No more than 12 violinists will continue playing in the second round. In the third round 8 musicians will perform with the Krasnoyarsk Chamber Orchestra. And only 6 finalists will perform with the Siberian State Symphony Orchestra and compete for the main prizes and awards.

Tickets for the opening and closing ceremonies of the competition, as well as for the III and IV rounds are already available at the ticket office and on the website of the Krasnoyarsk Regional Philharmonic. Attendance at the I and II rounds of the competition will be by a free invitation ticket. The information on their availability will be posted on the competition website additionally.

The Viktor Tretyakov International Violin Competition is held once every two years. The first competition was held in 2018. The competition is implemented with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Krasnoyarsk region.

The winners of the qualifying round will receive airplane and train tickets to Krasnoyarsk, where the main rounds of the competition will take place from September 20 to October 1, and back, as well as a hotel accommodation.
