The Jury has announced the participants of the II round
A number of 12 musicians got to the II round.

In the second round, the participants must prove themselves as ensembles. Contestants are required to play a sonata for violin and piano and a virtuoso piece. They can choose works by Beethoven, Schubert, Schumann, Brahms, Prokofiev, Wieniawski, Sarasate, and other composers. A special test for those who got to the second round is the performance of the piece for violin and piano by Alexander Rosenblat "Siberian Blues". The work was written by the composer specially for the competition.
Accompanists for the violinists are Sholpan Barlykova (Russia) and Evgeni Sinaiski (Austria/Russia).
Sholpan Barkykova is a laureate of Russian and international competitions. She is a teaches a class of piano at the Central Music School and works as an accompanist at the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory in the class of Professor A. Vinnitsky.
Evgeni Sinaiski works as a soloist, ensemble player and accompanist. He is a professor of Chamber Music at the Vienna Conservatory. He also has been teaching a piano duet class at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen (Germany). Among the partners of E. Sinaiski are such famous musicians as P. Zuckerman, L. Harrell, B. Kuschnir, H. Baerle, S. Ashkenazi, H. Zeitmeier and many others.
