Fengning Guo (China)

Began learning to play the piano at the age of 4, the violin — at the age of 5. The young violinist is now 13 years old. He is a student of the School of Music at the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing. In the summer of 2018, he won the Golden Star Award at the XI Golden Beijing Violin Show in the 8-year-old Group. In 2019, he was admitted to the Secondary School of Music at the Central Conservatory of Music (China), where he studied violin performance with Lin Qi and Xi Chen. In 2020, he won the 2nd prize and the New Star Award at the Korea-China International Music Competition. In September of the same year, at the XXX Young Musician International Competition ‘Città di Barletta', he won 1st prize in string Group A as well as Special Prize (Barletta, Italy). In July 2022, he won 1st prize at the Henryk Wieniawski International Violin Competition (Poznan, Poland), and in September took 4th place in Group A at the IV Zhuhai International Mozart Competition for Young Musicians.
