Krasnoyarsk Regional Philharmonic
The Krasnoyarsk Regional Philharmonic is a centre of music life in the Krasnoyarsk region, one of the largest concert organizations in Siberia and in the Far East of Russia.
Big Concert Hall
The Opening and Closing ceremonies of the competition take place in the Big Concert Hall of the Philharmonic. It is the unique venue for the Urals, Siberia and the Far East territories; it is equipped with first-class sound technologies and acoustic shell, which allows holding classical and pop concerts. Famous orchestras conducted by Mikhail Pletnev, Valery Gergiev, Vladimir Spivakov, Pavel Kogan performed here. Baritone Dmitri Hvorostovsky, pianist Denis Matsuev, violinist Maxim Vengerov and other famous performers and groups appeared on the stage of the Big Concert Hall.
The capacity is 1412 seats.
Small Concert Hall
The 3rd and the 4th competition rounds take place in the Small Concert Hall of the Philharmonic. Acoustics features are optimal for academic and chamber music performances. Design features and interior decorations emphasize the beauty of natural sound, amplify the energy of music and create the acoustic comfort for performers and the audience.
The capacity is 494 seats.
Dmitri Hvorostovsky Siberian State Academy of Arts
The Dmitri Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk State Academy of Arts is a state institution of higher education in the field of music, dramatic and decorative art as well as arts and crafts in Russia from Ural to the Far East.
Big Academic Concert Hall
The first and second rounds of the competition are held in the Big Academic Concert Hall. The modern light and sound equipment of the hall allow to organize concerts, performances and auditions, as well as accomplish multichannel recording with subsequent professional mastering. The Siberian State Symphony Orchestra performs on the stage of the Big Academic Concert Hall.
The capacity is 434 seats.
Small Academic Concert Hall
Workshops by the Jury members are held in the Small Academic Concert Hall as part of the competition schedule. The spacious stage in combination with a relatively small chamber and the low-level amphitheatre let visitors perfectly see and hear the artist from any place in the hall.
The capacity is 165 seats.
