6.1. All music pieces should be performed completely.
6.2. Works performed by Competition participants in the 1st round:
1. J. S. Bach. The first two parts from any Sonata for solo violin.
2. N. Paganini. One of the 24 Caprices for solo violin Op. 1.
3. The participant can choose one of the following options: E. Ysaÿe. One of the Sonatas for solo violin: Sonata No. 3 "Ballade" or Sonata No. 6; F. Kreisler. Recitativo and Scherzo for solo violin, Op. 6.;
F. Schubert – W. Ernst. Grand Caprice on “Forest King” for solo violin;
N. Milstein. “Paganiniana”; N. Paganini. Introduction and Variations for solo violin on the theme of G. Paisiello “The Beautiful Miller's Wife”.
6.3. Works performed by Competition participants in the 2nd round:
1. The participant is free to choose one of the following options - any of the following list of sonatas for violin and piano: sonatas of L. van Beethoven, F. Schubert, R. Schumann, J. Brahms, E. Grieg, C. Franck, M. Ravel, C. Debussy, R. Strauss, B. Bartok, S. Prokofiev and other classical and romantic sonatas.
2. Any piece of S.V. Rachmaninoff : Romance (“April”), Vocalise, Op. 34, No.14; Prelude Op. 23 No.4; Daisies, Op. 38 No. 3; Serenade, Op. 3, No. 5; Romance, Op. 6, No. 1; Women's Dance from the Opera “Aleko”.
3. The participant is free to choose any virtuoso piece of N. Paganini, F. Schubert, G. Wieniawski, K. Saint Saens, E. Ysaÿe, M. Ravel, W. Ernst, P. de Sarasate, Ph. Wachsmann and other composers.
4. R. Kim. “Romance”. Special composition of the Competition.
6.4. Works performed by Competition participants in the 3rd round:
W. Mozart. Concerto for violin and orchestra at the choice of the participant.
Concerts are accompanied by the Krasnoyarsk Chamber Orchestra.
At the request of the participant of the Competition, any of the Concertos by W. Mozart for violin and orchestra can be performed by him without a conductor. The participant informs about his decision when submitting the application.
6.5. Works performed by Competition participants in the 4th round:
The participant is free to choose any Concerto for violin and orchestra from the following list: L. van Beethoven, J. Brahms, J. Sibelius, F. Mendelssohn, P. Tchaikovsky, N. Paganini (Concerto No. 1 or No. 2), S. Prokofiev (No. 1 or No. 2), D. Shostakovich (No. 1 or No. 2), H. Wieniawski (No. 1 or No. 2), M. Bruch (No. 1), É. Lalo (“Symphonie espagnole”), H. Vieuxtemps (No. 5).
Concerts are accompanied by the Siberian State Symphony Orchestra.
